Remembering Who You Are
Life can be a rollercoaster, can’t it? Some days you’re on top of the world, and others, it feels like everything and everyone is working against you. Whether it’s life’s trials or those people who seem determined to dim your light, it’s easy to start questioning your worth. But here’s what each of must remember—we are amazing, just as we are.
You see, your value isn’t defined by the struggles you face or the negativity others try to throw your way. Those challenges? They’re just opportunities to grow into even better versions of ourselves. And those negative voices? They say more about the people speaking than they do about you. It’s always the ignorant who speak hate loudest.
In those tough moments, when doubt starts to creep in, I hope you find the time to pause and reflect on all the goodness you’ve brought to those around you. Think about the times you’ve shown kindness when it wasn’t easy, or the strength you’ve summoned when things got tough. Those are the things that truly define who you are.
Remember, you have something unique and valuable that only you can offer. No one can take that away from you. It’s easy to get caught up in the noise of the world, but don’t let that noise drown out the truth of who you are. You’re always exactly where you’re meant to be for a reason. Because no one can do what you’re about to do.
So, when the road gets rocky, when the voices of doubt grow louder and it’s all you can hear, take a moment to remind yourself of this: You are enough. You are worthy. You bring so much value to the world just by being you.
Hold on to that truth. The world is brighter because you’re in it, and nothing can change that.
Never forget who you are.
**and for my friends of faith who are reading this….never forget that you’re the child of the King. That He created you for a purpose. When you let those ignorant voices make you feel less than, you’re allowing them steal from you what God has gifted you. You’re here for a reason. God doesn’t waste the pain.
